Part 2: Physical Fitness

Get up and move.

Most of our houses are not designed for reaching a 10,000 step goal, so it will take us a bit of an effort and sometimes being creative to move and try to reach that goal. It was really surprising how much of a difference it will make climbing up and down the stairs. Or even walking a bit around the house or the block ( keeping in mind to leave at least 6 feet of distance between you and everyone else, if the situation in your city allows that. If not, we encourage you to obey the rules in your country and city).

Eat your regular meals on their times.

It is very tempting to snack on random times and all day when you are staying that long in the house. You will find yourself raiding the fridge mindlessly, or snacking on a family size bag of chips while you’re watching TV Or at your desk working. Instead you should plan and follow your regular meals and snacks times. Whatever you normally do will be fine even if you snack between meals.

Stay hydrated.

Our bodies will always do whatever it thinks is best to protect ourselves. Strive for a state of homeostasis to reduce your body’s urge to produce additional, unnecessary stress hormones.
