Community Support:

Maintain your personal interactions even if virtually

Remember that casual personal interactions that can easily happen in any place like work, a party, or even at the gym, needs to be curated now. Consider inviting your friends to a virtual coffee date or maybe a happy hour via FaceTime or Google hangouts. Believe me it’s less awkward than you think.

Rediscover buying local

We need to always remember that the small businesses in our community are taking a major hit during this crisis time. Start to consider that by buying locally as much as you can. Try discovering what they can offer you via their social media pages.

Financial health:

Pause and reflect

It doesn’t happen a lot to be forced to change our normal spending routines and habits this dramatically. For sure this is undeniably a financially uncertain time for many of us, however there is an opportunity for us to pause and reflect on the role money plays in our lives. Prioritizing what’s important, considering personal values, what changes could we make to positively impact the quality of our lives.

Don’t stock

There is nothing that said that we should be blowing all of our money stocking goods from shelves. There aren’t any indications that food retailers will run out of merchandise any time soon, but you might be making your neighbors uncomfortable if they can’t buy toilet paper.
