Internal Motivation

Motivation is one of the major reasons we do things—take a movement, go to work (and occasionally overwork ourselves), create goals, exercise our willpower.

There are two principal universally-agreed upon sorts of motivation – internal motivation (additionally called intrinsic motivation) and external motivation (extrinsic motivation).
