Part 3: Environmental Wellness

Open the windows.

Because there isn’t a chance to spend so much time outdoors, we have to make sure that the windows of the house are open most of the time and fresh air is coming in. Not because of the air circulation importance only, but also for staying healthy. It is a great way to feel less cut off physically from the outside world.

Setting an ergonomic work space.

You will find it very tempting to work on the couch. However this will surely lead to back and neck pain over the long piece of work time. Set an ergonomic workstation in a corner separated from the rest of the house, where it is most comfortable and healthy

Separate between work and life.

Like we said before it’s important to set a work space dedicated to work only in the house. Because there is no “leaving the office when we are finished” time, we have to make sure that we don’t live in the same place where we work. Seeing the open laptop, the shuffled papers from work, etc will trigger inside us the stress of the work thoughts exactly like a tiny little lion.
