How to be the perfect partner

When we’re in a relationship we always wait for our partner to be the perfect partner, to always show his love and affection for us, and when things start to not go as we expect we ALWAYS blame it on love, love is always the bad guy in our stories. But this is completely wrong. Love is the easiest step in any relationship, the first and the easiest, but staying in love isn’t easy. A healthy relationship is based on love and other factors, each factor must have its place and secure it in any relationship. Love can’t survive alone and it will never be enough. So let’s meet our relationships’ saviors.

Acceptance.

As a normal human being, we know that everyone wants to have a healthy relationship, and it happens when you accept your partner, you accept his/her presence in your life.

As a partner in a relationship, you have to accept the imperfections, flaws, bad habits and craziness of your partner. We all are flawed, so there’s no need for blaming and pointing fingers. In order to keep your partner, you have to accept him/her.

Being like minded.

This factor’s absence is a deal breaker! It’s interesting to fall in love with someone who is different than you but that doesn’t mean you should be completely different, with zero interests. Your manners should click! There must be, at least, one thing that you share passionately, else it will be like speaking two different languages.

Trust.

Relationships are more like plants, they feed on confidence and breathes communication. Trust is a relationship savior from troubles of jealousy. Without this factor, any relationship will sooner or later be filled with fights and no love can survive that!

Partnership.

It’s not only the lack of trust or acceptance that makes any relationship miserable, it’s the lack of feeling comfort with your partner, if you and your partner can’t be friends, can’t put all the romantic stuff aside and enjoy each others’ companies, then when boredom hits, love won’t be able to save the relationship.

Always make sure that the foundation of your relationship is strong, that there are other factors beside love that will make your relationship last. That’s how relationships survive.
